Anothony Robbins Self help guy, is he safe ot listen too?

What concerns me is that, I’ve seem some youtube flicks, and have ran by web materials that paint people like Mr. Anthony Robbins as building a cult following. This concerns me, for I am a Christan and don’t want people like me to end up going to hell.
Am I right to be following Mr. Robbins tapes, or should i stop using them?

No, he won’t recruit you into a cult. But if he makes you think more clearly, he may just rescue you from the one you’re in now.
christianity is a cult so why would you have an issue with it?
You already got help of some sort from a cult. Christianity is as big a cult as exists out there. Sure some of them may not like any type of competition. In which case they would likely say listening to self help gurus is of Satan.

I am a Christian just like you since 2004, and have been to Anthony Robins in 2004 Singapore and 2005 Australia.
For your question to use or not to use depends on the person using the tool. Its like you can set a fire meant for cooking, or you can set fire to someone’s home. As long as you did not cause a fellow Christian or a non believer lose faith in the Lord, and you do not move away from the Lord, you are doing fine.
I have questions for you, after you listen to Tony’s tape, and apply the techniques or tools he taught you, did you use it to help in God’s kingdom? If not, why don’t you use them to grow our Lord’s kingdom?
As long as you use the tools to glorify God, you are in line with Him.
As for the youtube flicks, as long as there is no report of someone doing evil things, after attending Tony Robbins event or listening to his tape, they are not a cult. By the way, the event is to change you for the better, not worst. Unless you choose to.
